life in brunei....(updated)
well....i dun really know where to start cos there is so much to talk abt >.< lol..
k i start with the place....its almost like malaysia, but i haven been to m'sia lately so i cant say much lol, now is in the crazy weather season, where it can really rain cats and dogs without warning, lol, not as bad as i though the place will be, at least the technology lvl is there, most place have wireless surfing, but the main problem is whether the connection can support or not lol....theres cybercafe too, but quite exp.... for ladies, this is not the place for u all, cos not much clothes shop arnd....a vast variety of food....thai, jap, kor, mal, chin, west, alot lar lol....prices varies alot, so stuff in sgme stuff is cheaper in sg, some stuff is cheaper here.
the pace of life here is like wols....really wols...but its not bad, compare to the crazy pace in sg, i find it really relexing here....the country is really welfare, as it the king really takes care of his citizen, alot of benefit for them, i think tat is why although this country is rich, yet it still seem like a developing country..
when i got more time, i will put some photos up....
k now abt the camp....cant say much lol...but it looks like houses in the 90's i guess...but for the people here, its like a mix of those 80's attec houses and those terrence housing we have in sg, so its like very ironic...there is still alot of wilderness arnd, its really like i step back into the past 20 years, yet still retain some technology....so its very weird in a sense lol....its like u are in plaza sing, but u step out u see tall bushes and tress all arnd....ya something like tat....
traffic here is omtish lol....avg speed is 100mph lol....its like highway all the way, and is crisscrossing alot with quite a few turn-about....so its quite crazy here lol....
piracy here is legel i think cos even the mall has shops that sells shet loads of those and no one seems to be doing a thing, WHICH is gd for us LOL, dvd sells like $3 - 8, depending on the quality...yar its insanely cheap lol....same for PS2 and PC games...its almost everywhere....
